Audio-only content does not get watched on video platforms; audio with something moving on screen does. This tool renders your soundtrack as an animated visual — bars, waveform or a similar reactive style — and exports it as an MP4 or WebM video, which is what you need for a podcast clip, a track release, or an audiogram for social.

Choosing a style for the content

Bars reacting to frequency bands read well for music, because they visibly respond to a beat and to bass. A moving waveform suits speech better: it rises and falls with sentences and pauses, so viewers can see that someone is talking rather than watching an equaliser jump at random. Whatever the style, restraint wins on social — a visual that flails constantly becomes noise, while one that clearly tracks the sound gives the eye a reason to stay while the ear does the work.

Export settings for social platforms

Most audiograms are watched on phones in a vertical or square feed, so export at 1080×1920 or 1080×1080 rather than widescreen. Feeds also autoplay muted, which is exactly the problem an audiogram cannot solve on its own — burn in captions with the subtitle tool if the words matter. Frame rate can stay at 30; a visualiser gains nothing from 60 and doubles the encode time. Keep clips under a minute for a feed, and pick the most compelling thirty seconds rather than the opening.
