Questions, answered
How many videos can I combine?
Two to four. Beyond that each cell becomes too small to read on the phones where most people will watch.
What if my clips have different lengths?
The collage runs as long as you set it to; where a shorter clip ends you can hold its final frame or shorten the piece. Trimming the sources to comparable lengths first usually looks best.
Which layout should I pick?
Side by side for widescreen, stacked for vertical, and a 2×2 grid for square or widescreen. Avoid a four-cell grid on vertical video — the cells are too small.
How is the audio handled?
You set the balance between the clips. Usually one carries the sound and the others are muted, because several soundtracks at once are unintelligible.
Can I make a duet or reaction video with this?
Yes — two clips side by side or stacked is exactly the duet format. For a small webcam inset over full-frame content, picture-in-picture is the better fit.
