A background loop, a product turntable or a reaction clip works only if the seam is invisible. This tool repeats a section of your video a chosen number of times and writes it out as one continuous file, so playback does not depend on a player honouring a loop flag — and it previews the join so you can hear and see what happens at the wrap point.

Choosing a section that loops cleanly

A seamless loop needs the last frame to lead naturally into the first. That is easiest with a locked-off camera, a static background and motion that returns to where it started — a rotating object completing a full turn, a wave finishing its cycle, a person returning to a resting pose. Changing light, drifting handheld framing or a subject that ends somewhere new will always show a jump. Preview the seam specifically rather than the middle of the clip: the middle is never the problem.

Baking the repeat into the file

Repeating the section into a longer file means the video loops in contexts that ignore loop attributes altogether — an embedded player, a presentation slide, a digital sign, a messaging app. The cost is size: five repeats make a file roughly five times larger. When the destination does honour looping, exporting one clean cycle and letting the player repeat it is more efficient. Bake the repeats when you cannot control the player, or when you want a specific total duration.

Questions, answered

How do I make a loop look seamless?

Pick a section whose end matches its start — same framing, same lighting, motion that has come full circle. Preview the seam rather than the middle, and nudge the end point a frame at a time until the join stops reading as a cut.

How many times can I repeat the section?

As many as you need. Remember the output grows proportionally, so ten repeats of a 10 MB clip is roughly a 100 MB file.

Does the audio loop too?

Yes, the soundtrack repeats with the picture. Audio seams are more noticeable than visual ones, so choose a section that starts and ends in relative quiet, or mute the loop.

Should I loop the file or just use the player’s loop setting?

Use the player when you control it — it is far more efficient. Bake the repeats into the file when the destination ignores loop settings, such as slides, signage or some chat apps.

My loop has a visible jump — can that be fixed?

Only by choosing a better section. If the start and end genuinely differ, no encoding setting hides it. A boomerang, which plays forward then backward, is the reliable alternative because its ends match by construction.
