Work by marking the regions you want gone rather than the regions you want to keep — for a recording with five stumbles, that is five marks instead of six ranges. Each mark shows on the timeline and can be nudged after the fact. The preview plays the tightened sequence, skipping the marked regions, so you hear how a cut actually lands before exporting. Cuts that read fine on the timeline often sound abrupt in motion; this is where you catch that.
The cleanest joins fall in silence: the gap between sentences, a breath, or a moment where the shot is static. Cutting mid-word or mid-gesture is what makes an edit obvious.
