Full mute or selected sections
A full mute removes the audio entirely, which is the right choice for background loops, silent demos, and any clip destined for a feed that autoplays muted anyway. Section muting keeps the soundtrack but drops it to silence over the ranges you mark — useful when one sentence needs to go, or when a phone rings in the middle of an otherwise good take. Marks are adjustable, and the preview plays back with them applied so you can hear where a mute starts and stops.
